Nexight

How Nexight works

Connect a source, create a topic, and ask in plain English. The agent does the querying, retrieval, or tool calls for you.

1

Connect a source

Add credentials for any of 14+ databases, warehouses, and tools — the schema is auto-discovered on save — or simply upload documents. Connections are private to your account.

2

Create a topic & add context

A topic scopes what the AI can see. Pick specific tables, upload files, or enable a tool — then describe your business logic so answers stay accurate and domain-aware.

3

Ask in plain English

The agent generates and runs SQL, retrieves passages from your documents, or calls live tools — and replies with results and insights, citing what it used.

Three kinds of topic

Structured (SQL)

Natural-language questions become SQL against PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake — run safely, returned with insights.

Documents (RAG)

Upload files; they're chunked, embedded, and indexed. Ask anything and get answers grounded in your documents, with sources cited.

Tools (MCP)

Connect Jira, CloudWatch, Tableau, and cloud datastores. The agent calls live tools over MCP to fetch what it needs.
