Nexight

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This policy explains what Nexight collects, why, and how it's handled. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, used to send one-time sign-in codes.
  • Connections: the credentials and configuration you enter so the service can query your data sources on your behalf.
  • Documents: files you upload to "Documents" topics, and the text embeddings derived from them.
  • Conversations: the questions you ask and the responses generated, retained so you can revisit threads.
  • Operational logs: standard request and error logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

We use your data solely to provide the service: authenticating you, connecting to your sources, indexing your documents, generating answers, and keeping the product secure and reliable. We do not sell your data or use your content to train models.

Processing & sub-processors

To answer a question, relevant snippets of your data or documents are sent to a third-party large-language-model provider to generate the response and embeddings. We rely on reputable providers for hosting, databases, object storage, vector search, email delivery, and AI inference. These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.

Data isolation & retention

Connections, topics, documents, and chats are scoped to the account that created them. You can delete a topic (and its indexed documents) or remove a connection at any time; deletions remove the associated data from our active systems.

Your choices

You may access, export, or delete your content from within the app, or request assistance via our contact page. For how we protect data in transit and at rest, see Security.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
